H-E-B, the renowned Texas-based grocery chain, has officially announced plans to open its first store within the city limits of Dallas. The company has acquired a 10-acre property at the southeast corner of Hillcrest Road and LBJ Freeway in North Dallas.
While this marks a significant expansion for H-E-B, the project is still in its early stages. The company intends to collaborate closely with local residents and city officials to address rezoning requirements and ensure the development aligns with community needs. Mabrie Jackson, Public Affairs Managing Director for H-E-B and Central Market, stated, "While we have a lot of work to do, we look forward to connecting with our neighbors, the city, and community stakeholders to ensure we create a destination that best supports this community."
This forthcoming Dallas store will join H-E-B's existing locations in Allen, Frisco, Fort Worth, McKinney, and Plano. Additional stores are also planned for Forney, Irving, Melissa, Rockwall, and Prosper.
